Sound is definitely what I wanted. It's pretty quiet actually with a smooth deep tone. Power feels much better across the whole rev range. I'm anxious to get her on the dyno. I'll have a video soon!

+1.

I guess this might be the ONLY exhaust that will add whp/wtq to the car.

wow, I haven't been a fan of the single exhaust on the TSX, but it looks really good (and normal) on your car. next on your list: complete detail. that thing is swirl mark city.

I don't at all agree it's a downgrade. It depends on what style of car you're talking about. This is a very stealth and sporty looking ride, the single exhaust looks "right" on it. CCColt's car would look perfect single exhaust right now since he's so race look. But if you take a car with the Kenstyle kit and some Kreuzer's on it, sticking a single exhaust on it might not look good.

I guess I just don't get it.... Why would people change their Acura and TSX emblems out and put on a lower model such as Honda Accord??
And what is with the JDM Euro R badge? Am I the only one who thinks this is stupid since it obviously does not come with the car?
And as far as the exhaust If you did it for looks I think it is a downgrade but if is for power then its ok.

enthusiasts tend to bend more towards the better looking//what its called in every other country

i think america gets ripped off by rebadged cars (slower car and weird body chassis) but its ok thats why we mod the cars to our preferences also its because you live in america where just because you have a "lexus" or "acura" emblem your rich
but who cares dumb hierarchy ? going JDM Style is the way to go (whats wrong with a honda? the NSX is called a HONDA NSX everywhere else in the world but its rebadged as Acura NSX in america still a NSX also if you talk to a foreigner theyll be like WTF is acura?! we have hondas here)

That is awesome... I don't understand the looks of a single exhaust though; it breaks the symmetry.

By the way... can you see your car in the dark??

Yep I think you are probably the only one. He likes it so that's cool! Also worldwide Honda is the far better known brand, it's universal. You don't see an Acura Formula One Team. Honda .................... The Power of Dreams

Acura TSX CL9 = Euro Honda Accord CL9/ Euro-R CL7 (different engine).

The CL7 were avaliable approx. 6-9 months before we had Acura TSX on the road, and every single part of the TSX that you are driving right now is from Honda Japan, except the 2 badge in front/rear. So now, why are you buying a re-badged car, and saying others who convert the badge to original, a downgrade?

It all comes down to personal preference. In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with the JDM rebadging because really, North America is the only place these cars are called Acura TSX's. It's some variation of a Honda Accord everywhere else in the world. Now, I happen to like my Acura badging so it's staying, but I can see why people would want to go that extra mile to make their cars stand out a little more.

The headlight and taillight swaps are both fairly easy self installs, youscott. There are Do It Yourself threads posted for both on here if you look. CCColtsIceHockey's DIY for the outer taillights is very helpful and I used it last March to do my JDM tail swap. It took me an hour, start to finish. Headlights takes a bit longer because there's ballast/ignitor/bulb swapping to deal with, as well as the fact that (at least for me) re-attaching the front bumper cover is a lot tougher to do by yourself than the rear one.

Give it a shot... you'll learn something about your car, you'll get the satisfaction of having done the job yourself, and it may even be fun.

Back on topic: this thread has me seriously considering sourcing a 5Zigen Pro Racer A-Spec single exhaust.

They did but a lot of parts sites still list it if you Google around a bit - whether or not it's in stock or just an archaic and poorly maintained website is another question entirely, I haven't made any phonecalls yet.

well I think the J's Racing 60RS alo does or maybe its just the fact the entire exhaust felt like it weighted less than one of the mufflers from my greddy evo2.

the single exhaust looks good.

whenever i thought about an exhaust mod, it was always the single exhaust models. i've always preferred the single exhaust (only for 4-bangers). just plug the left side, and you're done.

i agree, i think your exhaust may eventually burn your bumper.
