I like your new C350. Very clean and sleek looking. Not feeling the large grill though. Hope your enjoying it. The interiror looks nice. Like the pop up Navi screen. Cheers.

Damn, how is entry level luxury priced out to be $44k nowadays? What's the base on the C-class now?

well, i would know if i'm ever behind you that it isn't an AMG because most AMG's have 2 numbers after the letter in Mercedes cars

ML55 AMG
CL55 AMG

Maybe if you take off that 0 off the C350, it would read C35 AMG and that would look appropriate.

Damn, give him a break about this amg badge already. itd be one thing if he was boasting the amg badge on a lesser model without the appropriate amg fittings, but lst time I checked, the body kit was designed by amg, and so weren't the wheels. I used to b!tch about this too, but only if I saw it slapped on a previous gen c240 with 16's and no kit, or clk320.

personally I don't add or remove badging, but if you want to see the words amg there, u have ebery right to. the car looks stellar my friend.

I wouldn't buy it, however if I were offered it at the same price as the tsx...HELLO!

Nice ride. As far as comments here go, if you can't say anything nice, then.............oh well. Too bad it's not an option here do to the weather. After 25 years of FWD and/or AWD, RWD isn't even an option for a daily driver in my opinion. RWD w/ traction control is nice for a run to the liqueur store on a snowy night, but it's just not in the same league when you're pounding up and down I495 140 miles a day, 5 days a week, 12 months a year. Lucky you though, not likely a problem in FLA.

^^ yeah tru dat. Lets lay off the AMG badge shit and get back to the car. Sick ride dude, I always liked this MB line. A few points though:

1. Price tag. $44k seems like a lot for this car - this is s4 territory.

2. Apples to Oranges? How does this car stack up to the TSX as far as road manners, handling, and dare I say....power are concerned? My father had a MB suv (forget the model line at the moment) and I tell ya....that thing had none of that german autobahn DNA you speak of. That shit was a hog on the road.

Bottom line....new cars are fun. Good luck with it.

Nice car. But I can't help but comment on the AMG badge; it reminds me of the teenage kid with his Mom's hand-me-down accord sedan, complete with the auto trans, fart can, wing spoiler, and a big red R on the back. Hehehe j/k

Enjoy your new car!

i have an amg badge on my tsx - it looks good.

Congrat on ya new C-Class.

I do like the new C-Class design, but engine wise I don't like it, not until they release reverson a few years later. The reason why I dislike their engine is, they have NO heart.

A NEW car should have a NEW Engine, even a minor tweak would convince me (e.g. new G35). The new C280 or C350 engine is great but they were history, from the past generation. So why are they throwing it to the new chasis without any modication??? Money spent on a NEW car "chasis" w/ old engine... thanks.

I chose the red because IMO, it is the most aggressive looking color on the C. I also have a W203 at home in the same color and love it! Furthermore, after coming from CGP the TSX, I was tired of dealing with the car being dirty as hell after 2 days of driving. The red can hide dirt a little better and ironically, it looks really nice against my rims which become gun-metal colored due to brake dust! lol ... So essentially, my car has "2 faces."
thanks for your well-mannered reply...and I guess RED would look great with the DIRTY gunmetal rims...haha

and red, speaking from past experiences...looks a lot better in person

congrats on your new car!

the Euro-R and the TSX have almost nothing except the body in common.
The TSX is similar to the 2.4executive accord.

and I don´t see all this crying about the guy having an amg badge on a car that has amg things on it. alot of guys put Euro-R grills on their TSX´s and don´t have one thing Euro-R on the car(except for the badge).

for me personally I would never buy a benz and even smaller chance that I would buy a c-class.

It´s probably a fun car and all that and it should be for the money that those "badges" cost.

but to each their own and congratulations on the purchase and hope you have lots of fun with it

That's a nice upgrade man, I do like the new MB C class design.
Ya like everyone said get rid of that AMG badge since it's not authentic.
It's like putting the M3 badge on a 335i.

acceleration #'s seem simlar to a CL type-S, 0-60 6.2'sh, 1/4 14.5ish

handling:
C350 - "this is by no means a class-leader in terms of feel. Good, just not great."

check out this edmunds comparo, 335i vs. C350 http://www.edmunds.com/apps/vdpconta...4/pageNumber=6

Great upgrade, thats not the AMG Kit though, the AMG kit features slits on the front bumper next to the fogs..thats the kit that comes on the Sport, which im assuming you got? Either way, it'll be a great car

Ditto. That's the way I would have gone. I like a debadged look myself, but to each their own. IIRC, the AMG models used to look pretty much the same as non-AMG models as far as the body was concerned. You can add AMG wheels to any MB as an option. The AMG badge on the trunk though is kind of like putting a TypeR badge on a non-TypeR.......

if you paid $44k for a car (or $28k for a TSX for that matter), you can put whatever you want on it.

that said, nice car. saw a white one driving into downtown chicago. looked really hot rollin'
