EuroR with a few extras (no 56K)

Happy New Year guys! Have been reading your great forum for over a year now and finally can share my ride too.
(NOTE - To my SHC buddies reading this…appreciate if u don’t link this to our home forum. U know how some things are sensitive )

2003 JDM Euro R, bought used almost 2 years ago looking like this (with my first mod => Tein SS coilovers having just been installed)

After a pinch of this and a dash of that…..this is what the car looks like now

Bro good stuff!!! Every aspect of your ride (Looks, performance, ICE) all done up.. very hard to accomplish! Closest to the complete Euro R I would say!

Nice to have an avenue to share here cos its so darn restricted in SHC. Envy your FL kit.. maybe can do a shoot together once my Pre FL Mugen Kit is in..

Have been salivating over your slammed ride too! Those wheels are awesome. Cant wait to see Phase 2

Haha..after installing the Mugen kit, the black accents did make the black volks look even better....unfortunately they were 18X7.5 offset 50. Had to use spacer when i installed the BBK...not to my liking so changed rims. They were damn light though...

No, intake manifold is stock Euro R...Toda have ITBs now for the K20...

Front and sides fit like a glove...only that 06 bonnet is slightly longer (10mm) so a slight gap at the front. Rear bumper curves are different, rear lip needs to be 'heated & massaged' to fit the contour.

No way...NA all the way

Boost will need reduced compression and lower RPM...at the moment loving the 9000rpm scream..

For the same money, will probably stroke the engine later (Toda stroker) and maybe the Toda ITBs too - good for over 300hp at the crank....

I have the same phobia on "leaving" the kit on some high ramp or humps....

A few updates since the start of the year...
Sold the taiwanese JBT brakes in favour of reputable Alcons
These are monoblock 4 pots with 343 2 piece rotors with their patented 'cresent' slots. Developed by Alcon UK for the Euro R. After sitting in a car with these brakes around the Sepang F1 circuit for 5 laps....these babies were still biting hard with no sigh of fade...I was sold!

Also added in Samco top & bottom radiator hoses (sorry engine dirty...been raining a lot here )

Swapped out the TODA full face clutch/flywheel for a TODA hi power 6 puck clutch...the bite is awesome.

Added a Defi BF Amber Oil Temperature gauge to make full use of the Carbon Fibre Mugen (copy) triple meter hood (care of S001Y - Red JDM Euro R visit to HK)

Took advantage of S001Y's angel eye project...

Also added a 06 FL radiator garnish to complete the 06 Mugen bodykit, and a SPC Front camber kit.

Will swap out my Tein SS in favour of TODA Fightex coilovers come July...

Thats all for now

oh....also feeling the car lacked colour...being silver/grey/black...
Was contemplating a red lip like the golf GTI...mocked it up with black aquarium tape & red electrical tape....what do u think??
