Euro/TSX takes on Desert Storm!

I went to Lancelin in Western Australia today (about 100kms north of perth). There are amazing sand dunes there - lots of off road bikes and sand surfing! Great fun. As I was leaving look what shows up - an absolute beast! Couldn't miss the opportunity of a photo with the Euro

ps that isn't me in the photo

Ummm......Seeing a TSX that close to the wheels of a monster truck kinda scares me. Cool though.

Nah - only for that brief moment to take the photos. The rest of the time it was on the road (the proper road which was only 30 or so metres away).

Bender - the rims are 17" Prodrive GC07C +48 sitting on 235/45 Dunlop 3000As

Nice rims indeed, I was looking at the Prodrives, but for the price I saw, I'd rather get Advans.

Yeah - but it was offset a little when I moved to 235/45 (from 225/45). The 235 has a lot more rubber (both higher and wider). So this has added weight per corner.

People under-estimate the weight of tyres. I have also noticed there are wide variations between brands in the same size.

Overall - I am happier with the 235s despite the slight trade off in straight line performance.
