The Teins really give the car a great stance. The Aspec was nice but this is much better

before with aspecs

tein basics

So these are some low light shots i need go to the mall parking lots of by the stadium when the lights are on.
about 1.2 inch drop a little less basically
front finger gap was 3 now barely 2
back finger gap little more than 2 but now less than 1

Aspecs struts and springs are longer so right off the bat teins were sitting lower compared to aspec.

I also blew out my right strut which is pretty bad didn't notice any weird driving but my front left shock is leaking slightly so i guess i can't sell the aspecs but people can salvage parts of it.

I really dont mind the roughness I like it its tighter than aspec, but i can deal with it i've been in my friends wrx all the time lately and his car with a tight sway bar is still harsher than my tsx even now.

I think maybe if i got more money and didn't hop on the basics i would have waited for ss, but basics are worth it aspecs lasted me a good 50k miles in nyc...

i hit a bad pothole back and broke part of one of the ronjon servos so when we took out that struth it was fucked up like ______________---------]-

a slight curve and the bump stop bent upwards

Looks good Jeff, did my pm help you at all or did i get to you too late?! I hope i was able to help ya out but either way it looks good! I think if i keep my car for a long time i will go with the Tein CS to replace my aspecs but i like them for now!

Thanks man it did help, i got a shop to do it and they did it fast 2.3 hrs and i was able to help a bit but they lifted the car faster than i would ever been able to as a college student away from home.

My aspecs ran 50k miles... probably more um its at 79k - 24k when i installed the aspecs.
plus nyc potholes ...

I like colts advice
learn how to drive like an asshole!

Definitely looks way better than when you got the Aspec. So you decided not to do it yourself.

04/05 oem front
06 oem sides
04/05 euro r rear

I don't know really i was driving on a highwayramp and the road wasnt even and basically the car hit a flat end and it cracked through the rim and bent that right strut.

^^nice. I definitely like the drop with the basics, it looks lower than the aspecs.

how do you like the 04-05 front with the 06-07 sides? any reason why you didn't go with the 04-05 sides?

actually it was a mistake when someone sold me the sides i had the front first and then bought the sides and finally finished with the rear
but the sides flowed nicely with the euror rear only.

aspec isn't low at all, and not as stiff so tein basics for the win.
