Arctic Blue W/ Body Kit!

I finally installed the OEM body kit. It took about 3.5 hours.
I also replaced all the dome lights with PIAA extreme white lights, and the door lights with PIAA led. The leds on the door are cool. It comes with 2 leds (white and blue), which replaces the original bulb.

It looks very nice. I saw one just like it in Pittsburgh and made me wish that I had gotten the blue.

You should remove the "type R" badge. It's quite lame. And anyone who knows about cars would just laugh at you. And for people who don't know about cars, the "type R" doesn't even mean anything.

Conclusion, you lose in both situations. Of course this is a free country and that one happens to be your car, so do what you wish.

I see a "Type R" sticker. And you had an "Accord" emblem on there before too??
And you didnt even take off the "ACURA" or the "A". hahaha
Acura Accord. hahahahhaha
Even in Japan this style Accord was never a Type R. It was a Euro R.

I guess theres Ricers w/ all types of cars.
Is your car an Auto too??? hahahhaha

STC - WTF does an auto tranny have to do with anything?

Nice colour!
Debadging rules! Type R stickers belong on Type R's and riceable lawnmowers though.

Crazy - I think you know Type Rs come in stick shift only.
If he has a rice Type R sticker, he'd better at least have a stick.

I know a guy in Europe with an Accord Type R that isn't a Euro R. I think the Euro R is one of the newer 99+ body styles. I don't think his is newer than a 98. The tail lights are different.

Anyway, that is a smooth looking car. exactly the color I'm getting. Very nice.

There is an Accord Type R in Europe. Its based on Europe's last gen Accord. Not the newest one.

Who cares if someone wants to put logos or symbols on their car. It is what ever the driver deems to be "good looking". I'm sure Gboy is just trying to add a little something to his ride.

By the way Gboy "Nice ride!"

Looks nice, glad there's no "wing" on it. I hope Honda brings us the Indigo Blue Pearl color in the US eventually (if they do and it has the tan interior and maybe 20 more horses, I might even trade up, not that this would be a great move financially, LOL). Can't understand why anyone would want to "debadge" a perfectly good car though, that makes no sense to me (but to each his own). You will probably have to "rebadge" when it's time to sell...

Type R badging on something that isn't a Type R is rice - regardless of if it has auto, manual or no tranny.

The Accord Type R debuted in Europe in 1998. The Type R moniker only exists in Europe. When the Japanese heard this, they pretty muched begged Honda to bring it over. So when it came to Japan in 2000, it was re-tooled and rebadged the Accord (or Torneo) Euro R. Even tho it had claimed 8 more hp, many found that it was a toned down version of their Euro sibling. With the advent of the 2003 Accords, Europe dropped the Type R, while Japan continues to use the Euro R trim.

Your car looks great!

I'm thinking of getting that color maybe. It's between the white, blue and carbon grey. Wouldn't it be something if in the '05 we could get the canadian blue???

what color would you like out of the three I choosing from and why?

p.s. good choice on not to putting on the spoiler .

Thanks for liking the car. I love flashy colord cars.
2 colors I would pick from.. red and blue... I picked the blue because I have a red car. The only downside is that you see dirt on it easily. I hate white and silver cars. It's like having primer as your color. It doesn't shine. It's the color choice of senior citizens.
I say pick from the blue or the carbon grey, but please do not choose white I hate the OEM spoiler, makes the TSX very small and ordinary. I am looking to get a lip spoiler soon.

ummm.... :sqntfawk:. Dont you ever talk Sh*t about white cars.

It can own a blue car any day

For senior citizens? .

Most of my friends including myself drive white cars, and we are all about 20!

Silver is an eligante and sharp color. Yes I get complements from old people but I get even more of them from teenagers. The highschool students at the school I work at think I have the best car on campus. That is with all of the shinny Blue and red sports cars around.
