The color should hold up as well as the other plastic parts of the car like bumpers. My concern when having it done was peeling and flaking. The shop looked at the parts and said they would be fine. The parts weren't too rough. Evidently, a rough surface will prevent proper sanding but these parts were only semi-textured, not very rough. If the parts are prepared correctly, there shouldn't be a problem.

Those mudguards do nasty things to the paint on your car. I've removed mine for this reason. Arent you guys concerned about this as well? Have you seen the pictures of the damage the splash guards cause?

Good business practice: sell people something they already have I guess they want them to match.
Acura sells the two-peice for the rear that matches the fronts. I'd only get them if I was goint to get all 4 painted. They stand out too much in black....

I know they use some type of flex paint or additive in the paint that they use on the bumpers to allow for adhesion, but mud guards are in a totally different category. If you decide to do it...just be careful...but all in all painted mud guards look nice.
just my .02 cents worth

i just got my guards back today..
the rear looks a bit fatter then before...
it's very close to my pearl white body color, but since it's not factory paint it's a bit whiter then the rest of the car...
but i guess you can't have 100% match since it's not OEM @_@;;;
i will post some pics after i wash my car..
hopefully that will help ahhaha

does anyone know where I can get my mud guards and rear lip painted PWP in NJ? I went to one place and they wanted $250 for the splash guards alone. I think that is kinda high.

I was going to get mine matched before removing them for the OEM Kit install. I did however, finally get around to getting my fog light bezels color matched. I am installing them this weekend weather permitting.
