Another new toy... non-acura yet again.. hehe.

I picked this up bout 1.5 weeks ago..

2003 350z Touring 6MT

Here are the parts already on their way for the car

Work Equip 01
18x9 front +20 offset
18x10.5 rear +23 offset

JWT Popcharger

Data Systems/Illusion replica abs lip

Tein S-techs w/oem shocks (bought from another forum user on my350z)

im still deciding on an exhaust, but im pretty sure ill get the single exit JIC Spartan Type-1 or Apexi N1 dual Im also waiting for more Varis cf air-ducts to become available, and ill order one of those too.

anyhoo... thought id share whats in store for the new car.. this list of mods will pretty much sum it up for a long while, with the exception of maybe more exhaust parts, and side skirts.

Got the wheels in today.. really fast shipping! i was expecting them monday. Anyhow.. i bougt the wheels used through one of my contacts.. and the guy selling them said only one of the wheels had very light scuffs on them. When they got here.... 2 wheels were scuffed.. and one curbed all the way around. Pissed me the hell off.. but i got a good deal, so i didnt complain. Ill just get em fixed. Anyhow.. here are some pix i took tonight.

ps. yes the car is dirty.. its raining tomorrow so i didnt wanna wash it. I also installed my JWT popcharger tonight, now just waiting on my springs and my front lip and new bumper goes to paint monday

dont mind my baby deagle... when you work on a car in the middle of the night, in the bad part of town.. you gotta keep it real.. lol.

thats it for now.. i know i need a drop bad.. just waiting on the springs to come in like i said.

Tein S-techs w/oem shocks??? Those shocks look pretty old. Why not do it right and put on some better shocks at the same time?

the shocks only have 15k miles.. when the S-techs only lower the car a little more than half an inch, i see no real advantage in buying aftermarket shocks. I dont track my car, or race it at all for that matter. Im just a spirited highway driver Id rather wait to buy a nice set of full coilovers later.

the same way, you get it outta any other civic.. engine swap, big fuel system, custom turbo kit, and great tuning.

the used 350z are pretty decent in price, i got mine for 19k.

and the camera i was using is a sony DSC-V3

driving both on a regular basis.. the tsx is more comfy.. but not by much. obviously there is the performance aspect of the Z over the tsx, that pretty much makes it a deciding factor. I was looking into a tsx at the time i bought this, but since my girl has one (the reason i even post here.. hehe) i decided to go with the Z, and im loving it to death. Out of all the cars ive owned, i could honestly say this is my 2nd favorite, my first being my beloved 3rd gen rx7s.

Love the car.
Not a fan of the Work wheels though. The spokes seem too thin IMO.

installed the springs... not much of a drop since the car is already low and i didnt wanna bottom out my front lip all the time. Once i get a little taller tire, it should help the gap a lil.

Springs are Tein S-Tech, so its only like a .70 inch drop up front and a .60 inch drop in the back. Hopefully once they settle down some, it will be a little lower. Here are some pix....

The Z looks great. How do you like the shifter? I don't think it would feel right in my hand.
