Abp + black caliphers

So today me and brent, installed my new hawk pads, and painted the caliphers.

So the rotors were a bitch to get off.. so that plan was scratched, and some point we broke the wheel lock key...

The brakes were worn out pretty bad, and was the reason why my steering wheel was vibrating while i stepped on the brake.

So enjoy the pictures.

I know my rotor is backwards we found out the L and R
so my shop needs to fix that.

Hey, i'm surprised no one really commented but it looks nice!

Can you give a little blurb on how you did it, like how many coats and prep work you did? I am planning on doing this VERY soon, i just purchased the Acura decals to put on when i'm done!!

Basically take the wheels off
tape up as much as you don't want incase you don't spray on anything extra.

Duplicolor black low gloss paint is what i used at pepboys.
Brush down the brakes with steel wool or brillo pads

Then did 3 coats every 20 mins.

Dry and then wala =)

Looks really good man... the paint distribution looks much more even compared to the caliper paint you have to brush on. Is the duplicolor spray paint you used just regular high temp paint, or is it "specifically" for caliper application?

I really like the black caliper also, only thing I dont like is your rim makes the caliper look so tiny/peeney~

Yea the servos star is huge compared to the brake.

Duplicolor high temp paint is the same as brake paint same high temp.
