About time...
My rims arrived from Japan.
I just got my Advan T7 18x8 45et, rims wrapped in 225/40/18 Toyo Proxes T1R yesterday.
I had to wait 3 months for these things
But all in all, I finally got them and put them on myself yesterday. Here are the pictures.
Seeing how they will look...
Back tire off, got a look at the beautiful Tein CST's
First wheel on...
All the wheels on...
Center Cap and emblem...
Pictures of the wheels on my car...
8 Inch Width...
I ended up driving about 60 miles on them last night, and they much lighter than stockies. My steering, braking, and acceleration have all improved. The tires are amazing as well. A lot less road noise than the stock michelins.
Overall I am happy with the money I have spent on my car so far (or what I have gotten installed). I still have plenty of more mods coming, in the soon months

I might head out next weekend, depending on my school. I start this week, so it all depends on the amount of homework I have. I will let you know by friday for sure.

I definitely like how aggressive they look. They will match some parts I will be ordering in the near future

But look at the bright side, when you do get them, you will appreciate them more because you had to wait so long.

You've got a lot of $$ mods there! Is it a BBK or an exhaust coming from Japan?
Haha, but your wheels are have the concave look to them. I'm also used to seeing a lot of wheels with lips or spokes that don't connect all the way to the outer diameter of the wheel, so your 18"s actually look like 19"s to me.

I tend to get bored of things so who knows, I might have another set of rims in 6 months or so
And the main part I am getting from Japan is an exhaust, along with some other goodies no one knows about yet
BBK is how I am going to possibly start next years modding That or some more Japanese stuff...

Burning Brakes
Gorgeous wheels, definitely one of my favorites .
I had strongly considered picking up a set of those a while back, but then I figured two sets of Advans would overlap too much.

Thanks for the compliments. I am definitely going to watching my whells a lot. Luckly, at the college I am going to, we have three security guards that are their 24 hours with gates all around my school. And my car is going to be either at my school, or my garage.

I almost bought the rims that you have Dayta. But then I figured that I should try something different. You can never have enough Advans though

Haha, thats a great way to look at it. I almost bought some Volk TE37's, but soooooo many people have them, and I wanted to be a little different. I think the next set of rims I get will be Advans as wellI like them because they are different and somewhat rare.

The tires are amazing. They grip way better than stocks are are quieter. I can feel more road now, but not a lot more because I have the tein CST (which are a heaven sent). The tires are great so far, my only concern is for the rainy season. I dont know how they grip, but I will find out.

I agree with you on the comment about the RGII. They are clean, a little outplayed to me, and a little too meh for me.
BTW, your whip is the definition of sex I will hopefully rep as hard as you do, in a couple of months, when my parts arrive
Next year, I have even bigger plans that what I have done so far this year

The Advan X are really nice, but for me, I wanted to be different. I have only seen one other TSX (he is in Japan I believe) that has these rims, and he was my inspiration. The Xi's are nice though, dont get me wrong, I almost got them, but got these instead, and I havent looked back.
