Unhappy 1st scratch

Well....it comes to all of us...

Parked the car this afternoon, checking around it whilst walking away I found a deep scratch in the rear bumper ..just where the body kit meets the bumper :-(

Seems like I'll have to get the ole tin of touch up paint out

I agree. Back in August when some bitch hit my parked car from behind, she claimed it was only a scratch. Yeah, it was a scatch that cost $600.00 to fix. She was mad because that was more than she paid for her car.

BTW, she did not have insurance.

My TSX was almost another parking lot victim, had I not been there. Basically I took one for the car - I was hunched over the trunk loading a large box and trying to push it through the passthrough. The cart I was using was beside me.

All of a sudden the cart is being pressed up against my legs, and I'm pinned between the cart and my rear bumper! I look back and there's this clueless woman who stops (but only after a few seconds), then looks as me. She just sat there for a few seconds, and I was expecting her to at least see if I was ok. But nope - she moved forward, and took off. I watch her leave, and see her stop further down the parking lot, get out of her car to check for damage, and quickly get back in and take off.

Needless to say I was very pissed. I only found consolation in the fact that if it wasn't me, it would have been the car.

My first sctratch was running over a branch on the road. I had no choice.. it was a really busy road.. either ruin my rims and hit the curb, run into another car, or just head straight for it...I had o run over it... oh wells. Got the scratch like a week after i got my car and 10 minutes after washing it. Bummer..

Anyways got it fixed for $150 bucks at a Honda Bodyshop...I still see a faint line.. but I didnt have to repaint..

well the dealer touched it up when the car went in for its 1st service.

doesn't look too bad but I might feather the paint in with some slightly abrasive wax
