'06 With Lower Chrome Trim + Random Pics

Sup all...

Finally got around to installing the Lower Chrome Trim that I bought off E-bay. It cost me about $22 in total and I must say that it adds a subtle hint of class to the somewhat naked front bumper. Installation took about 5 minutes for both sides and I took it through a Touch-less car wash to check the longevity of it and I am happy to report that the 3M adhesion kit kicks @$$! So enjoy and comments are welcomed!

Chrome:

Dirtttty!:

Clean again!:

It's actually nice and cool ... around 78F. It was down in the 50s on Monday. Now if it could just snow.....

Yea, I don't like the car wash either but after "off roading", I had to use it to wash my undercarriage. It was touchless though so no random swirls or scrapes!

As soon as Dade county finishes all their road construction and crap, I will risk dropping my car. Sure would look sweet, though!

That's dark? Damn. Where I live, 5% is the norm. People seriously think that my car has no tint on it when I tell them its 25%.

The chrome looks pretty clean. Do you go to the University of Miami by any chance?

I have yet to go to a tint shop that I am pleased with. So far the IS got scratched up, with only a couple of days of owning it (by a tint shop recomended by the salesperson at lexus. On my tsx it came out o.k. but im still not pleased.

I went to a place almost on the NorthWest corner of Bird (40th St) and 57th Ave. I can't remember the name of the place right now, but they do a lot of work (audio, tints, wheels, alarms) on high-end cars and they do it right in their show room. I waited about 2+ hours for my car. I will check my warranty card and tell you the name of the place. Just remember, if you have the NAVI, metallic and ceramic tints are a no-no due to potential interference. I had to get the "cheap" tint (aka non-metallic) for this reason, but the results are A+++.
