Hey I just wonder if anyone who has TSX that she or he satisfield with 200 hp/4 cyclinder or wish that TSX come with 240hp/V6? I wonder if 200 hp is enough powerful or should add more hp? A little faster? I am just curious. I know that I have to drive test and see how is that car fast. Thanks.

i am satisfied with it. actually i like the fact that i can use all of the power of this peppy little engine (i.e. redlining it!!). cause with a 240 V6 there would be no way to use all of the power without killing myself or getting ticket after ticket. people will flame me for saying that, but i think a V6 would have been too powerful for me, while the K24 is perfect.

wow, I think that 200 hp is enough powerful, but if upgrade on engine a like Injen or K&N intake, DC sports header, and Comptech or else exhaust, it will go up about 230hp. It is still good powerful! I have 1994 honda accord ex come with 145 hp/4 cyclinder and already has Aem cold air intake, DC sports header, and Greddy SP exhaust system for almost 2 years, it went pretty fast with upgrade on engine at about 160hp. I thought that TSX might be kicking my accord ass really bad, ha. Thanks for feedback, bro. I will look forward to get TSX soon.

A V6 would make the front end too heavy. I's happy with the current engine, but would be happier with about 20 lb-ft more torque at the lower end. That would do it. Other than that, the car is fine.

IMO hondata may provide some gains on the low end, but I think most of the gains will be on the mid-range to top end.

Then again I hardly if ever find myself driving above 120km these days so what I'd do with the extra power

What would be even better, would be a smaller, lighter inline 6. That should help keep some of the weight down on the front end somewhat. Then drive the rear wheels are you are golden
Hmm...wait a sec ... then we would be driving a reliable BMW, or a better looking , better valued Lexus. Hey..nothing wrong with that!

Weight/Balance is the concern everyone talks about. I'd love to see Honda dabble in Inline 5 territory again ala Vigor. I'm guessing they'd be able to get I6 power with the weight of an I4.

I am satisfied with the engine performance but the car is to heavy for the brakes and tire setup. A car weighting as much as ours should push out at least 240hp with much better brakes and tires(235's)

I'm not. Not near enough torque and the torque it has causes too much torque steer. It would be the perfect sports sedan with a modified 240hp V6 and rear/all wheel drive. I'll hold on to it for a couple of years though. Want to see the new Sub Legacy, Mustang, and also see if Acura goes AWD with the TL.

Very satisfied. I have always preferred cars with high-revving engines and a light, tossable feel. The TSX is a very nimble platform and there is plenty of performance potential. I can always get a Hondata flash if I need more power, but for the moment, the power is more than adequate since I can't use the full potential of a monster engine anyway.

From what we've seen on the RSX-S, Hondata actually provides a seriously flat torque curve. On most, the torque will have a peak that stays on from 2500 rpm all the way to the redline. I would have to imagine that it will be similar on the TSX. Nothing like having your torque on tap anytime you want. I like the fact that I can hit the gas at anytime and smoke yo ass. Then again, there aren't a lot of low-13 K-series cars out there.

ya, that seems to be what hondata did with the RSX, but i figure that was because on that engine, low end was lacking and under tuned. In the TSX, i see it as being the opposite. We've got great torque down low but very little top end. I get the feeling the is more potential up high in the TSX. Hopefulyy we will soon find out
