What other mod can a TSX be done?

It seems that the TSX does not have much choices on bolt-on aftermarket part, or did I miss out something??? What are other mod options that can be done on a 05 TSX 5AT ???

1. Intake (CAI or SR or Icebox)
2. Header (Comptech/DC/Toda)
3. High-Flow CAT (RT/ Magnaflow/DIY)
4. Exhaust <-- Heard we won't see much gain, true?
5. Pulley (Unorthodox Ultra SS) <-- I don't see much people doing this mod, why?
5. Flywheels <-- This is for 6MT only right??

What else can we done?? Cams? Intake Manifold??

SPRAY??? Are you CRAZY? Thats an awsome way to fudge up your car, and loose a warrenty if you have one. I would do a turbo kit B4 bottle feeding it! Custom built is a must, but if your gonna loose your warrenty then atleast be smart about it. Or you can be like me.....Bolt on Supercharger.

hm... so I guess Nitrous, Supercharger and maybe Turbo???
But anything that is NOT FI?? I would like to keep it as a N/A engine.

Please don't post something like "If you want a fast car don't drive the TSX" or something similar to that. I just want to know what other options are avaliable for this car.

THX

You're kidding right? You think sprays unsafe but f/i isn't? Either one is perfectly safe if done correctly.

Okay........Yeah, how many cars do you know that have or had spray, that are not all fudged up? It is the cause of many blown head gaskets. Then maintenance, and installation.... you have to use colder plugs to keep out of detonation but the colder plugs foul quicker if just driving around town alot. to get the most out of it you have to keep the bottle at a certain pressure, which requires a bottle warmer and even then you have to monitor pressure so you don't heat it too much. with inadequate bottle pressures you get inconsistent flow which throws your tune out the window.it gets bad only when you try and stretch that last ounce out of your bottle causing your car to fall on its face and a second later snap your neck back as it gets the last drop. fun quick bang for the buck but expensive if you race alot over the next couple of years a blower could be cheaper overall.

You have no clue. There are THOUSANDS yeas thousands of cars out there running spray right now with no problem.

You need to change out more then plugs and monitor way more then a simple bottle when running boost.

I am gonna assume you have spray. And I have my opinion. I do not contest that there are plenty of cars with spray. HOWEVER, I doubt that most of them, if not all of them have SOME problems. I am not a fan of bottle feeding. I can only kinda see it being "SAFE" for your car if it is computer monitored.

Spray is very big NO NO, especially for a daily driven car that hasn't been properly prep'd for something like spray. Same with boost, but I think that those are things that you should consider later, after all the bolt-ons and internal work.

B/c people were afraid to do it b/c they thought the TSX had a harmonic dampener, which it doesn't, and therefore this issue has been put to rest. So, that being said, why don't you be the first to see the gains the pulleys? PM me and I will offer you an introductory price.

--> I will definity purchase lighter wheels later, is 1lb/inch the lightest it can get? So a 17" weight 17lb should be the best since 18" is only 1lb heavier on each wheels, but I assume there's NO lighter tires right??

--> Jtso TB by-pass mod that remove the restrictive part, or like other people who swap their TB to a bigger one such as TL 68mm, does it really improve performance? I need some prove but I might be wrong~~ Post some dyno~

--> hm... really, what does the oil catch can do??? It seems that no matter people working on this mod?

--> Hondata~ PLEASE~ I'm ~ Where's the Reflash for 2005 TSX AT and MT???

--> IMG = Intake Manifold Gasket?

Both of these mods lower the temp of the intake charge.

Actually, if you change your exhasut system to single outlet (J's racinf or 5 Zigen), then you can get 10whp gain...

I like to read JTso write-up as it's easy to understand and w/ pictures to show the details, I've read this a couple times before already. I think I can work on the TB bypass mod as it doesn't seem to be TOOO difficult. However, I'm not too sure on the IMG. I'm bring my car to a shop for CAI, High-Flow CAT, Header, and possiblly pulley installation. The IMG install takes 6hrs (someone mentioned on that thread) and it will cost too much for me to pay for labours when it's only account for 1.5HP gain (the other 1.5HP go to TB By-Pass )~

It seems like (any dyno yet?) the single outlet exhaust will product some HP gain, and about 30lb weight loss due to its small size. But seriously, I really like the dual outlet "LOOKS" , wHat can I do???
