UR pulley install price? and Topspeed pipe diameter?

I had two quick questions

One- normal estimate for installation of Unorthodox 3-piece pulley set with new belt

Two- Top speed header diameter vs oem? I went to a shop today and the guy noticed a smaller diameter pipe before the flex pipe, whereas the oem is a larger diameter? can anyone explain how this would be beneficial to switch Topspeed header vs the oem exhaust manifold?

Thanks I recieved an estimate for $250 for the install of the pulleys and the new belt. I was like WTF?? If I had a damn impact I would have had this done by now. Is this install easily done without? I read JTso's post and have reviewed things, but thought it would be easiest with an impact. Maybe I will just try to tackle it this weekend, I already pulled off my Ingalls ETD so I can get at all of the pullies

If you can lift the car and get into that one crankshaft fully while the car is lifted then thats mainly your only problem.

I tried it myself and lacked many powerful tools and a properlift i got nowhere.

Pssh, I was quoted $650 for the pulleys install, no joke. You may have to shop that one around a bit. I ended up DIY'ing it, but it was very difficult and I had to buy a special tool to do it... not for the faint of heart!

I've got one of these bad boys: http://www.moroso.com/catalog/catego...?CatCode=27115

I'd only spring for it if you plan on using it more than once as I have. For an AT however, you need it or something similar, as you can't put the car in gear to brake it.

Hehe, if anyone wants one:

$650 is nuts man.

$250, you COULD buy a compressor and impact, but not likely have enough power to remove the pulley.

I had my UR pulley's installed for $150CDN. If you don't have tools and you don't know how to install, the best is to go for mechanic. Tools in Canada is super expensive.

A homey told me $20. I laughed when he said that, but he was serious. Might let him do it now.
