There is no engine management out for the TSX besides the reflash, so that is a big part of it. What kind of engine management is everyone using in Croatia?

Only the Supercharger from Comptech is a proven solution at the moment.

Technically, it shouldn't be able to run 1psi without the CEL because the stock MAP sensor is not programmed to see and handle positive pressure. The sensor will treat it as a problem. Therefore, I'm not sure how it can even run any boost at all without engine management.

i don't know, after many requests they never responded with the real details of what they did. The car was at a meet in cali and they posted pics of the turbo installed...

did the owner ever follow up? I know he is a board member, but i don't remember his user name...

If I remember right, he sold the parts since he couldn't tune it. Must've sucked to have had all those hours of work go to waste like that.

The situation here in the US is almost the same as Croatia. We don't have any of the things you want here, either. There is the Comptech supercharger, but to use that, your car needs to be compatible with the Hondata reflash. I'm not sure if the euro Accord is, because I think the ECUs are different. You would have to ask Hondata about that.

There is the Greddy E-manage Ultimate that I heard is a type of ECU management that has very nice features. I am not if that could be used on the TSX. Also, there is the new Greddy V-manage. Not too sure what the differences are, but they seem pretty cool.

I am running a TSX ecu in my Euro accord type-S so he has that option.
can´t comment on wether the euro ecu is compatible cause my orginal ecu got fried when it was beeing reflashed so I never got to test it out

but anyway we can use the TSX ecu with the reflash, only we get 3check engine codes.

Just a quick question. Since hondata cracked the ecu how come they cannot
make a custom configuration for turbo'd k24a tsx's ? Like make a different
reflash so the car could have a turbo. They seemed to have done something
for comptech with the s/c but why cant they do it for turbo's ?

They will and have been working with some guys making a turbo for our car. Issue is you have to visit Hondata and spend some time creating that custom map, which requires a car.

if you remove the dbw and throw in cam gears, would we have a shot at a turbo?

You would need to figure out how to make the ECU recognize throttle position, VSA wouldn't be able to control power any longer, most of your gauges would be in conflict with the lack of data coming in from the motor, you'd need engine management changes to account for the exact cam profile and loss of iVTEC... the list goes on and on.

I may be mistaken, but isnt the purpose of this product (Missing Link) to trick the stock map sensor into not detecting boost? Could a product like this be used on the TSX? http://www.synapseengineering.com/pr...ink/ml004.html
