TSX VS TL on dynapack from church automotive
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...light=dynapack
"In a nutshell, the care dyno'ed at:
231 Horsepower (Max - SAE) @ 6321 RPM
210 lb-ft Torque (Max - SAE) @ 5303 RPM
Assuming 15% to 17% drivetrain losses (corrected):
265hp to 270hp @ 6,321 rpm
(270 hp @ 6200 RPM - manufacturer's data)
241 lb-ft to 245.7 lb-ft @ 5,303 RPM
(238 @ 5,000 rpm - manufacturer's data)"
With my mods, I dynoed 197hp and 169 lb-ft torque at the same place using the same dynapack.
This means a stock TL puts 34hp and 41 lb-ft torque than my fixed up TSX.
I'm going to rate my car at 235hp and 197 lb-ft torque for fun lol.
Not bad from stock 200hp and 166 lb-ft.

Very generous dyno.
Very generous dyno.
The 15% driveline loss is usually used for dynometers, not dynapacks, and it has been accurate for the MT tsx in all the dynos I've seen, including my own. So even if you were to "subtract 10", you should calculate driveline loss after subtracting 10, so at the very most generous, you're looking at 220hp, but I'd guess ~215hp.
I'd be most worried for the TL owner, his dyno seems low to me for having an aftermarket exhaust system.

Atmosphere, conditions etc. can play a part of course, but I'll leave those out for the sake of argument.

With dynapack, this individual put down 25hp more than everyone else using dynojet.
I predict with my light weight lims and sticky tires, I will put around 190ish whp using a dynojet.
Either way with, dynojet or dynopack, all i can say is my power is going up and will be near TL power after my header ^___________^

I'd suggest doing your next dyno on a dynojet to see how you compare. If you can pull 190 you've got a strong motor, but my guess is you'd fall ~180hp. And you'll never be close to a 3g TL w/ NA, hate to break it to you.

you are a hater lol
https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/fuckd-up-tidal-wave-kansas-112685/
this is a stock 6mt tl dyno with max power at 208....
vtec.net posts dynos that are always higher than normal
they seem to get "lucky" all the time with a strong motor.
even their stock tsx dynoed more than usual
stop being a hater xizor and do more research next time. look at various dynos instead just vtec.net. and this is acurazine LOL... if you do a simple search in the tl forums next door, you can see a bunch of members dynoing at 205 - 210ish with their stock mt tl....

but even more funny is you're hating on the potential of your own car, the tsx...
I think with the best I/H/E, hondata, and lightweight rims, a 6mt tsx should be able to break 200whp on a dynojet like the RSX have already done with hondata.
I hope that my car will be able to dyno 200whp on a regular dynojet one day and other tsx as well. Why do you have to call it illusions lol... I want to make it a reality
