TSX Supercharger

Would a TSX supercharger fit a 03 Accord I4 since they have the same engine practically.

youd be better off asking comptech themselves since they are the makers of our only kit.

Engine management would be one of your obstacles.

I got my Comptech S/C from one of our forum sponsors - Excelerate Performance .

However, it only works for the following model years of TSX:

04 MT/AT
05 MT
06 MT

If your car isn't one of these combinations, you're outta luck...

I thought you could get one for the 06 5AT though too? I thought Excellerate mentioned that we could. Eitherway, i can't afford it right now anyway

Deja vu ...

Sorry bro, but AFAIK Comptech never released a S/C kit for the 06AT because Hondata never created a S/C reflash. I agree this doesn't make much sense since they do have a standard reflash for the 06AT.

Btw, does anyone know Comptech's new website? I was on there before, but forgot the url (and it's definitely not comptechusa.com anymore).

Thanks to who?

By the way, my understanding is that a dual-ECU K-Pro setup on our cars is NOT street legal, therefore it is not recommended unless you're turning your TSX into a track car (or use external gauges).

maybe you should call comptech just to confirm there is no 06AT supercharger kit.

the site may be up, but who knows how accurate the content is?

Yeah, I briefly read about this on one of the Accord forums. Anyone have a solid link with more info? I heard this guy basically took a Honda Manual and wired the harnesses himself.

Is the setup for the accord a dual ECU setup? Basically, the Stock ECU runs the gauges,AC, etc and the other K-PROed ECU runs the engine?

^^ Those guys came to the forum over a year ago and they still haven't finished the RSX kit. I think those guys will have a good product, but don't hold your breath. They seem to be trying to do it right, but their development is taking quite awhile.

They were trying to rouse up some interest on these forums over a year ago, but because they didn't want to become forum sponsors, they weren't allowed to pitch their product here.

Originally, I was going to wait for their kit. However, because they kept on delaying the release date of their kits (at least 4 times now), I couldn't wait any longer so I got the Comptech S/C. I would definitely like to see them come out with something, but at this point my expectations aren't very high.
