Agree. You can remove your intake and spoiler easily enough, find a 6MT ASM, and make something happen.
There has been at least one documented tranny swap on these forums, I think the user's name is "drkangel" or something along those lines. Run some searches on the boards to try and find out more, and maybe contact him with any questions you have.
IMO, not at all worth the effort unless you had already heavily modified the car and didn't want to deal with removing everything. In your case, you're early in the game, and can just get a 6MT car to work with...

I've done the swap, works flawlessly... I've been using it for over 5 months now. ~15,000mis put on the tranny (I drive alot).
But I agree, if you're still early in the game just trade up. The only reason why I did it is because I had ~70k on the odometer and the trade in value just wasn't there. The car is also paid off.
I was lucky and got the parts for cheap, (tranny, ecu, speedometer, clutch master cylinder, shift linkage, etc). It looks stock, you couldn't tell that it was an auto. :P

i ask my friends about doing a tranny swap n they told me i should trade my car. cuz if they do a bad job on the tranny ur pretty much screwed. if u trade it in the tranny is directly from acura so there will be less problem.

If I do the swap, I'll have the first MT-->AT conversion.
