I've noticed that a huge trend in cars nowadays (from what I've seen, mostly RSX's) have been converting their USDM body parts, motors, interior, and damn near everything to make their cars identical to their JDM counterparts. So from what I know, the TSX's JDM counterpart is the Accord Euro R-Spec...CL7? I don't know..something like this right? Well I thought it would be helpful to myself and countless other members if there was a list of everything needed to convert their cars to the JDM version (albeit just appearance, or performance as well). So if someone would be so kind, would you mind giving us a list of what we'd end up doing?

The TSX is allegedly similar to a European market Accord Type-S (not sure what that is in Japan.. but it isn't the "Euro-R")... Our TSX has a lot of extra equipment installed (including a different dashboard and instrument cluster?), as well as slightly different suspension tuning.

If you're talking about a total conversion, it's pretty much impractical to do... Even the front bumper is slightly different, if you're just doing the exterior.

If you're just looking to do the general appearance, EuroR/Type-S kit, grill, fogs, headlights, badges, and wheels will take care of it for the most part.

Interior is different, althought 90% similar to the US Accord, and with Recaro seats and Momo steering, of course.

Engine/tranny is some variation of the DC5R's K20A, and comes with LSD.

Well, just ask the JDM whores who already did those appearance conversions on this board.

EuroR is CL7. The JDM spec of the TSX is the CL9, the Accord 24TL. This is the spec with leather, foggies and optional sunroof.

Funny thing is, one of the nicest things about the Euro R is the K20A & 6 speed gearbox. Instead of converting TSX to JDM Euro on the outside....if would be nice to see a TSX with a K20A inside
Probably would cost the same too if u grab a used one from Japan.... Just my

the TSX is similar to our Accord executive, not the type-S.
the type-S is somewhere inbetween the EURO-R and the TSX/Executive.
and if I´m not mistaken japan also get´s a type-S, and I think it just comes automatic over there?
and you are right about the dash and cluster. our accord get´s a dash similar to your accord I think?
