so in the spoon example, first gear is located right in the middle, as opposed to the upper left hand corner (as shown in oem status)?

I believe so which brings me to wonder why you would want this in the US if you do not have RHD cause then 3rd and 5th would be far right.

+1 I think it's a pain to get into 6th as it is; moving it even farther to the right would not be good
