It looks really nice! I like how the latch is integrated. Looks like it's designed not to use the front chrome trim.

yup which i really like the no hood trim deal. this design is like the phase hood design which leads me to believe the rumors that phase was a sister company of spoon, and now that phase is gone spoon will make the old phase bumper.

Simply put there are two ways of laying up composites. One is wet, the other dry. In 'wet', the cloth is laid in a mould resin is poured and spread over it, a vacuum bag seals it up, and a vacuum is applied for a certain period of time and at a certain curing temperature. The problem with 'wet' lay-up is generally there'll be excessive resin adding to the weight, and it won't be even resulting in regions where the resin won't have worked it's way around all the fibres of the cloth resulting in regions that a porous, prone to moisture absorption, and reduce structural integrity and stiffness

Dry is also known as pre-preg. In other words it's cloth that comes pre impregnated with resin from the manufacturer in spools that must be refrigerated. This doesn't have any of the problems of wet, as the resin coats every single fibre evenly and there'll be a consistent finish with minimal weight as there is no excess resin. Dry Carbon Fibre is what you want for any structural application! It's good stuff and worth every extra dollar.

I don't think that's a carbon fiber hood by Spoon because I have a Spoon Carbon Fiber hood on my CL9. It has two small metal plates on the hood and one of them with product number on it. I bought it from Japan for $900US shipped to MACAU. I also bought the Spoon (Phase) front bumper and it cost $1050US shipped to MACAU with paint.

well if you drive 80 or above at all you will want hood pins. I have the TCSportlin hood which I am able to get for 550 shipped to my buddies shop. so if you are close i could meet you half way or something with it. I dont have hood pins yet but plan on getting them.

hey....is it true that ALL CL7/9 in HK and Macau are modded??.. my friend told me she always see CL7/9 with OEM kit, JDM kit, Phase, Mugen, Buddy club......

All the 2.4S CL9 and CL7 EuroR are came with OEM kit and most of the owners put Mugen body kits and only 2 put Phase front bumper. One is in blue color CL7 and mine one is in sliver color CL9.

I put the whole Brake Kit with 355mm on my CL9 and its very $$$$$ because it's forged caliper. The 355mm rotor looks so damm good with 18" rims.

Hey buddy, it's 38 offset because I need to put 355mm rotor. Harrison's CL7 is arrived to Macau already and we can see this crazy CL7 couple days later on the Macau race. Are you going there??
