A-Spec Exhaust Pipe Extension - What a ripoff!!
I took off Tanabe MT and put OEM exhausts back on. Car is luxury quiet again and feels like it gained low-end torque compare to catback system.
Anyways I was in need for exhaust extension since oem tips sits inside the euroR kit. So I went to the Acura dealer and ordered exhaust extension tips for A-Spec body kit.
Wow!! Made in Japan!! JDM Tips
So far so good
WTF? Same length??
Same length. Same tip but just different clamping point..

Extension tip does extends out more than the OEM tips but basically these are same tips with just different clamping points. Not worth the money I think.

The tip came with the rear A-spec lip when I bought it. I also thought it's bigger and longer, ends up it's the same shit. It just the way it clamps differently so the exhaust gas won't black out the rear bumper. If you have to buy it, I agree with you, it's a rip-off.

I had a custom extender made by LaBree Motorsports in LA.
In normal LaBree fashion, they welded the joints from the inside and ground it down to a smooth finish. Looks very professionally made. I haven't used it yet.
Here's some pics. If you want it, I'll sell it to you (or anyone that wants to extend their exhaust to BETTER FIT any exhaust with the OEM Lip Kit.

does that thing goes between cat and exhaust? this thing can be solution to comptech header and random cat being shorter than oem parts. whats the price??
