So You Want to Know How the K24A2 would Perform With a K-Pro? ::DYNO INSIDE::

Got this from HT.

The guy swapped a TSX engine in his RSX, basically used the accessories around the engine from the RSX, including throttle body, and runs it with a K-Pro.

With these results:

The prototype manifold and fuel rails were not used in the dyno..
2.5 exaust mounted to greddy (not open header)
comptech race header
Custom motor mounts to allow header to clear firewall and subframe
AEM shortrame intake (actualy a shortram cut shorter to clear) piping about 14inch's long mounted with K&N filter
kpro (with a partial tune.... plenty of power to get (VTC was still low) and ignition was conservative...
type-s manifold (none ported or gasket matched
70mm tb, 65.5mm plate, 12 degree taper
hondata IMG gasket
TSX injectors

that's it...

basically a I/H/E with hondata

no tricks.. 90octane.

dynotjet numbers...

here's the video for the nonbeleivers... (video after dynotunning on highcam)

http://personal.nbnet.nb.ca/tuned/after.WMV

and another when nailing it in first... (this was prior to tunning, 190whp-160tq)

http://personal.nbnet.nb.ca/gbvautou/run2.WMV

the kpro was only partially tuned on the highcam to see the best AF value the k24 wanted. I can still advance the VTC another 10+ DEGREE's to get even more power topend.. the difference between these two lines are the VTC change i made, and trust me it was a small one, so the VTC makes huge power in this motor...

the low cam wasn't touched, just tuned for FUEL AF perfectly for part throttle under the mods i have... with tunning i'm certain i could more torque than 181...

if ever hondata releases something for you guys, get it.. the k24a2 is serously untuned ..
PS: Tony4311, I'm surprised you didn't post here about it..
