Scary scenario for us Hondata owners
The wifey's Honda Pilot had the 2nd recall notice a few months ago. This time, it was for faulty timing of the driver's airbag deployment coded within the ECU. They mentioned that it was low risk, but recommended that they reflash the ECU. We finally got around to taking the Pilot to the stealer for service. I thought I might as well let them reflash her.
Then I thought to myself: Wouldn't this be horrible for us Hondata owners? *knocks on wood*
I think if the scenario existed where a certain Acura recall involved the dealer reflashing the ECU, I think I'd just live with the risk.

there was a response (from hondata) either on hondata's site or in a azine thread that they would re-hondata-flash for a fee less than original price...I think around $150- but DON'T quote me. search around, it's on here somewhere or better yet call em. I am joining the club soon.
