TSX shift knob has red letterings where S2000 ('02+) knob has black letterings. That's all I can tell...

If anything, you want a little more weight on the shift knob.

It's not 02+, the 05/06 is different, it has smooth leather instead of the preforated kind like the 02 and TSX. moda_way what year did you get those measurements from?

Right out of the North American Parts Catalog published by Honda NA. I only type what the catalog says, but 109mm does seem a bit long.

Not exactly... the TSX shift knob and the stock s2000 shift knobs are both leather-wrapped aluminum. There is an optional full titanium shift knob available for the s2000. The aluminum knobs have more of a brushed finish, while the titanium knob is much "smoother".

The Accord V6, Civic Si, and s2000 shift knobs will all fit the TSX --- they have the same thread.

If you ask me I'd like my shift knob to be a bit heavier. Need a little bit more for faster shifting.

not 100% positive but I'm pretty sure TSX, RSX, S2000, and Accord V6 all have interchangable shift knobs.

Hmmm, I can't be the only one that prefers a lighter shift knob....or am I?

I like to feel the gear engagement more, and I found that the TSX's stock knob was too heavy. Before I traded in my RSX-S, I took the knob off and replaced it with an el-cheapo knob. Now the RSX-S knob is on my TSX. I like the feel of it in my hand and it looks cool and different too. Only problem was I needed to add a ring about 3/4" wide to the bottom of where the knob screws on. Some small diameter PVC pipe (carefully cut and sanded) and silver spray paint took care of that.

Here's what it looks like:

Went from 04 TSX to 02 S2K. Doesn't look or feel different except the engraved numbers on the top.
