Removing stock resonator

I look at the exhaust system of my car and I saw too many resonator. I was wondering if by removing one... we would get a more sportier exhaust sound and maybe pick up 2-3 HP.

what do you all think... I did this in my 2001 4cyl accord and it did make a difference... in sound and everything... right when I did it I could totally feel the car running much smother... it might be because the stock system is restricted ...

I hear these cars with the fat exhaust and to me they sound too loud. The TSX is a fairly quiet car, why mess with that? And I may be wrong but I would think that you would more interfere with performance than enhance it. Would better breathing work as well?
