questions about the 06/07 JDM bodykits

for those of you who own or are in the know--do i need the JDM foglight housing covers for proper fitment if i'm installing the 06/07 JDM body kit?

also, if any of you purchased the hardware bundle for body kits from acura of escondido, did it run you around $140 for the hardware alone (excluding a-spec muffler tips)?

i recently bought this kit (on the way around late-june/early-july). i want to make sure i'm not surprised with anything. from what i've been told and read, the OEM fogs do work but you need different housing covers, and the body kit can be installed with all existing hardware (no need for clips, etc...) but i'm a little wary about that.

06-07 JDM Euro R does not require JDM Foglight Housing covers. The lip goes over USDM Bumper. No modification required.

06-07 JDM MUGEN LIP requires modification of the stock bumper for the foglight housings.

i'm getting conflicting reports now that the housing AND cover for the fog lights won't fit the bumper/kit, but the lights and wiring are fine.

Well you know, stating "WHICH" JDM lip you bought would help first of all.

I was unaware of any conflicts, I believe 98civex has a post about installation and I don't remember reading anything about needing the JDM fog light housings/fog light body panel.

Foglight covers from the bumper has to be removed in order to install the euro-r lip. The foglights itself also has to be unscrewed from the original covers and screwed into the lip. hope that clears it up. Once you get the lip in your hands you'll figure it out, it's pretty simple. Also for the hardware all you really need is the 4 tap screws and nuts for the edge of the bumper, everything else was reused from the hardware that was taken off the long black strip at the bottom.
