Progress Rear Sway Bar

I got it installed the other day and after having spent some time driving with it I have to say this is one of my favorite mods so far. It makes the TSX feel so much sportier when going around corners and really completes the handling upgrade package along with lowering springs (eibach prokit) and aftermarket shocks (koni yellows). My car has a little over 25K on it now for mileage and I enjoy it more and more.

Hmm....looks good!

Which Sway bar is better Progress or Comptech?
Is the adjustability of the Progess worth the extra money Xizor & Jigga?

dunno man. never been in a car with the comptech. probably cant go wrong with either one. the stock rear sway bar is so flimsy looking its pathetic. its not wonder that i noticed such a difference.

My comptech rear sway bushings are starting to squeak on me. I'm going to have to double check it when it's not as cold.

Rubber bushings shouldn't squeak should they?

shouldn't be a problem, you should just need a 22mm poly bushing. I don't know if the brackets are the universal size, but many energy suspension makes some?

I got some Prothane poly bushings (with lube) for $12.83 shipped from here: http://www.philsinc.com/prothane/swaybarbushings.html

I ordered the 23mm (#19-1122) and they fit perfectly. Had them on for about 6 months, no squeaking or noise of any kind. Can't really compare them to the bushings that came with the comptech sway bar b/c I put on the poly ones at the same time as the sway bar.

I think I'd just use them with my Comptech brackets.

Just curious, why did you order 23mm bushings for a 22mm bar?

Follow up: I called them to place an order and they wanted $15/set PLUS $5 shipping (UPS ground to Texas). I told them about this thread and they still wouldn't negotiate. I told him nevermind.

When I ordered them, people were still debating whether the bar was actually 22mm or 23mm in diameter. They fit fine for me, 1mm's not that big a deal.

They came with some pretty beefy brackets.

Sorry they wouldn't negotiate. I'm sure you can find Prothane stuff at other places, though.
