piston speed

ok i see alot of people sayin our piston speed is too high to raise the rev limiter....well what mods to the bottom end would we have to do to be able to raise it up? stronger rods? rings? better balancing? lighter flywheel? i mean come on dont just tell me its to high tell me how to make higher and do it safely. im curiuos...i think a thicker oil might just do the trick =) its only 1000 rpm raise if that

i think it will make sense starting from strong pistons and rods. i dont think there is one avalible on the market right now made for TSX. but you could always special order them to your spec. or e-mail the companies that makes K20/K24 hybrids and ask them about the pistons and rods in their kit.

Stronger and much lighter pistons and rods. Titanium (or at least Ti coated) rods would be da shizznit. No thicker oil, but a fully balanced engine internals would be good. Do not expect 1000 rpms added to a reliable engine. Won't happen. Unless you use some exotic materials.
