That is expensive, for that price you buy Intake, DC Headers, High flow Cat, and Exhaust

Comptech

You have to consider that Comptech is "THE" Brand Name in TSX aftermarket Headers, Cat-Back, soon Superchargers and with their cooperation with Hondata does it really make any sense to go with anything else at this point?

The prototype set up would be Comptech Headers, This Catalytic Converter, the Comptech Cat Back system, The hondata intake gasket, a take your pick intake (too clost to call, AEM, Injen, Comptech), and if you have more money than God, a Comptech Supercharger with the Hondata reflash. If you are in a state that you can change your Cat.......... do it. If you are in Cali and you want to swap the Cat's for the Smog Check, Do it.

Do all of the above and you have some performing awesome vehicle.

I don't know why anyone would wanna put test pipe on a street cars??? You'll be doing more harms than good!
Sure, you'll get more HP but at the same time you are POLLUTING the planet and people's lungs. That's just inconsiderate.

Anyway, I'm so glad that i'm one of the first 7 to be getting the CAT, YAY!

they make o2 sims, maybe you should look at getting one.

I got around the CEL, its very easy... And you don't even have to modify the O2 sensor.

This "mod" works, over 8,000mi's with it and not one CEL with my High Flow Cat.

It's a matter of numbers. A handful of people taking their cats off here and there really doesn't amount to much in the grand scheme of things.

If you have a cat, I don't think you need to do that mod. I've been using a high flow cat without any problems.

My high flow cat was giving me CEL's until I did that mod. I guess it varies, my cat has a 2.5" inlet, and 2.25" outlet. Definitely fell gains with it at ~6000rpm.

hrhrh, I'm one of the 2 international orders that shipped from RT directly

Got it installed this morning, but car is pure stock aside from that. Haven't decided which header I want yet, cuz I dont want what is currently out.

Noticed a slight difference in pull, nothing too significant, a nice exhaust sound, but not really louder, sorta like turning up volume 1 or 2 clicks.

On a side note, the underbody of the TSX is THIN!!!!!! Right where the O2 sensor wiring goes into the car's underbody, you're right under the passenger seat carpeting. Makes me want to consider putting something there as a preventative measure for leaks.

You are joking right? With Diesel engines allowed to pollute the air without any restrictions and you are going to comment on a few TSX’s without a CAT? As they say on the Springer Show, GO TO OPHRA

All righty party people......................Order from 1555 and below all have trackign numbers and should be receiving their cats this week or next.

The others after order# 1555, we are waiting on RT to get the flanges made up and welded on the units. According to Clay, this should happen sometime this week and next.

Yes we are recovering. Last week was chaos. This week, I had to come in Sunday and catch up. I was here early this morning too.

Anyway, soon as RT gets those squared away, we are GTG.

Spoke to Clay, we are getting between 9-12 more shipped to us either today or tomorrow. So, that means accoring to a rough count orders up to order number 1581 will be shipped. I will not know until I get the shipment from RT.

Hey Dezod,

Do you think that Random Technologies would consider making the cat about 1/2" longer?

Based on this review and some of the other things I've heard. Sounds like the current cat fits, but is a little short and puts extra strain on the exhaust system.

I just measured the cat and according to JTso's measurement given, they are exactly the same length... 17 3/4".
