Realistically, the oil pan and cat converter will get damaged before the header would even come close in contacting with the ground, as it sits much higher. As far as corrosion concern, the ceramic coating will protect the header way better than the other un-coated mild steel parts under the car (the ceramic coating is inside and out).
This thread is not about header comparison. I think we have a thread for that already. But if someone asks why people install performance header to go with the high flow cat, I hope the answer is for performance.

Just got off the phone with Dave from Random Tech, and he is asking me to start the GB now. He said they are willing to accept the batch of orders now. So, we can now accept payments for the cat to get this rolling now while they are some what prepared for the demand. Payments for the cat are being accpeted now!!

What are you guys in cali going to do about smog?
Are you just going to take the Cat off, whenever you smog?
I have a friend who will probably let me pass the visual inspection, but I'm wondering if the CAT would pass smog in Cali.
