News for International Accord owners about the Reflash

For any Aussies lurking about these forums - Today we successfully reprogrammed a RBB-Q01 ECU with a US TSX program. This ECU leaves for our dealer in Australia tomorrow and should arrive there for dyno testing early next week. From around September 2004 the Australian Accord was updated to ECU part number RBB-Q02. We are looking to get one of these ECUs for testing.

We also believe that we can reprogram the European ECU RBB-E02 and are looking to purchase one of these soon for this purpose. We have just recieved a European RBB-E04 ECU - obviously from a newer Accord, but we were unable to program it (like the 05 TSX)

Awesome.

RBB-Q01 makes much more sense than "RBB-Õ01" which is what I interpreted it to be using the lazy persons method of finding out the ECU number....telescopic inspection mirror.

Best check again this evening!

Fantastic news!!

Hondata - do you guys know whether the Australian k24a3 engine is the same engine as in the TSX (k24a2)? No one seems to know whether the differences are just in the tuning or whether the internals are different. Tough question - I know - but perhaps you might know.

can't wait to see what sort of difference this makes. Hopefully the k24a3 can match the k24a2 after the flash
