NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! How could you do that to such a nice car. You ruined the tsx. Your car looks like a CIVIC!!! I was afraid some one was going to do it. You should have bought a RSX, at least it kind of looks like a civic to begin with.

Okeee...well if you can find a Civic with a $1500 front bumper and a $1500 carbon hood....I give up hands down

I guess I'll have to admit I look like a rich man's Civic, eh?

If you didn't notice it is a Carbon Fiber hood, painting it would really defeat the purpose.

No..no performance engine mods...if i wanted a fast car I wouldn't have bought the TSX.

Thanks for the compliments...actually the hood and bumper were a bit more than $1500 CDN a piece, just threw a ballpark figure out there.

You made it look like a civic but aren't going to make it sound like one? That's good. But I think it would have made more sense to do engine mods for more power (since more power would be nice) rather than body mods making it look like a civic.

It does look a little better than a civic but I wouldn't call it a rich mans civic since you removed any luxury appearance the car had.

Thanks for the pics. Nice looking car!
I was hoping the CF hood was cheaper than that. Is it structured like an OEM piece, meaning sturdy and won't shake?

It was a typo.

It was supposed to say:

i think its got a damn good look to it. it does resemble a civic, but hopefully people can tell the difference between a tsx and junk. it is unfortunate that you dont like engine mods tho.
i am looking only to improve performance, and id like a CF hood but i dont feel like spending the dough, but if i did i would get a CF trunk as well.
i have the factory spoiler on right now and ive decided i like the look of a tsx without it, but now i have holes drilled into the trunk lid. so replacing the trunk would be nice. i have an indigo blue tsx, not sure how CF grey would look on it.

my goal is to get 230-40 hp to the wheels, id spend the cash needed if it were on some quality parts, but ive came to the realization taht the tsx has been juiced of all possible hp from its 4 cyl... i think its impressive how much they have used the little engine to its full extent, but seeing stuff like a whole comptech I/H/E system boosting 13 hp at max revs is horse shit.
my bros WRX has a 23 hp gain to the wheel from his complete exhaust. i sometimes regret getting a tsx over the altima 3.5 for the sole purpose of the V6 having a chance to show more power, bigger engine usually have that possibility

Not much you can do to make it up to 230-40 at the wheels if you want to keep it NA. You might need a blower to get up to that. That would be a 70 whp increase.

You would need to drop some major coin into the current engine to make it 230-40 whp. Maybe JDM K20R hint..hint...AJR has a fully Spoon built one in the garage...tempting....

Honestly I don't think there is much of a difference, the Advan Kruezer's are not a forged wheel.

Wait a minute, fellas. The original Purpose of a CF hood is obviously to SAVE WEIGHT, especially for a front mounted front driver. The resulting look is attractive for some applications, but my point is painting it WOULD NOT DEFEAT THE PURPOSE.
