New HID's ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I'm looking into getting away from the white and going to maybe a blue-ish purple-ish tinted bulb...any suggestions?

depending on your budget, you could get cheap ones from ebay (6000K~8000K) or piaa's hid replacement bulbs.

Top bulbs cost ~ $100 a piece... just FYI. You know you'll be losing a LOT of light output by going to that high of kelvins, right?

Really now... Safety First, this is not a good mod. The only thing you get out of it is aesthetics.

Yes I recommend sticking with a good brand like KAIXEN or Phillips. KAIXEN's 6500k D2C HID upgrade bulbs are extreme white with a hint of purple. And they are $150 shipped.

yeah bro...

I seriously do not suggest going that route...

the light output difference is night and day

there's a reason the OEM is 4100k, cuz it is closest to sun light, also reflects best off objects for your safety, but if you go blue, somethings won't be very easy to see, and it just makes the HIGH end acura TSX look like a ricer...with them 8000k HIDs that puts no light on the ground

if you haven't notice, due to the projector housing's reflections, there is a clear blue line across the cutoff of your HID beam, at some angles, it looks VERY VERY BLUE to other cars, so it's definitely not just white

just my

God bless

6000k is perfect if you want little more bluer than stock. 8000k is too blue and you won't see shit in night.

try this one. i have them and they are pretty good.

my suggestion...

get a hid kit for your fogs...3000k!
it's crazy yellow...so that will emphasize your blue/white light even more

keep it OEM, TRUST me...you don't see them lambos and ferraris and bimmers and aston martin's changing their lights...

so don't change yours

The Philips Ultinons (5800K) are the only replacement HID bulbs Id even consider if I were going for extra style points.
