need some help from my northern friends!
Acura of Woodbine still has a skirt kit for my 04 NBP TSX. However, they want to charge me $300CD for shipping alone, which i think is rediculous since the total of skirts is just under $700CD. can anyone think of a cheaper way for me to get this kit shipped to Texas? Keep in mind - the absolute cheapest shipping method. anyone have any prior experience with this?
btw, what is drop shipping?

Drop shipping is when the vendor does not physically have in stock and they get the manufacturer to ship directly to you.
For example:
You order some Comptech parts from ABC Vendor and they do not physically have it in stock they will get Comptech to ship directly to you.

$300 CD actually isn't bad to ship all that. Keep in mind that it's going to be an oversized piece and it all weighs not a lot, but a good amount. Do you know if they're using UPS, or what? Sometimes companies just use whoever they want to use for shipping, and won't let you decide, so you might be stuck. There are also customs fees included to ship to/from Canada, and it's dependent on the value of whatever it is you're shipping.

You must understand as before that it is costly to ship these products since they are not charging by actual weight but by the cube weight which in this case is more expensive than the actualy weight. 300cdn is about 260usd.
Acura of lynwood charges 100$ for shipment of the kit via ups within the states, i assume if i wanted them to ship that to canada it would be about double plus whatever brokerage/custom fees i would have to pay to get it to my door... So i think the price is right but might not be worth it although you might be able to get it cheaper via another method. If buying stuff from north or south of the border it's best to stick to little things.
Another thing you can try, is getting a quote from another dealer in canada, try acura silverhill, they are in calgary, ask for howard, he seems like very down to earth and a nice guy, i don't really like rob from woodbine, or woodbine itself. I got quoted 330$+ for a icebox whereas silverhill quoted me 220 or so...

Keep in mind that you will likely have to pay duty and brokerage which can usually be about $75 or so.
I'd tell them that you will arrange shipping yourself.
