Need help with the factory bulb from license plate trunk inside replacing?
Hey guy, I wonder if anyone know how to remove the factory bulb from license plate trunk inside? I was trying to remove the bulb but I couldn't do it because I am kind of afraid that I will damage or broken the parts or bulbs. I have hyperwhite bulb and want to replace the factory bulb. Any suggestion? Thanks, George

You'll see that the clear lense and then there is a socket which clips into the clear lense. You just pinch the sides of the off-white socket and pop it out of the clear lense... all from inside the trunk lid of course. If you need a pic, I think I might be able to snap one if someone else hasn't already.

every time that I have changed my license plate bulbs I have taken the socket and clear plastic cover out of the bumper. Now that I think about it maybe you don't have to take the clear plastic part out. You might be able to just pop the socket out. If you have to take the clear plastic part away from it's mounting point then you have to take off the paint colored strip above the license plate so that you can push it out from inside the trunk. If you got 9LED's it is kind of a tight fit, but they will fit if your force them a little. The bright white end up looking kinda purple because of the clear plastic.
