My '04 Stock 6MT Dyno -- 177 whp, also compare to '06 6MT Stock Dyno
Well, I finally decided to get my car dynoed and I must say I was expecting a bit more. My best run posted 177.4 whp. The only modifications I have done are removing the resonator and installing the lower pipe from the Comptech Icebox. I also have the 17" a-spec wheels, not sure if that makes a difference. Besides those two things, everything else is stock. Is this pretty much what is expected from a stock '04 6MT?
The place I went to also had the results from an '06 6MT (from another member of this forum... forgot who though). I had them place my results on the same graph to get a good comparison.
It appears that the '06's are pretty much the same up until about 6000 rpm's, at which point they have a serious jump in power.
Anyways.. next up is my supercharger installation, so now that I have a baseline I'll be able to see how much of an increase I'll get.

Doh, I totally forgot about getting the actual dyno files. I'll try emailing them and seeing if they could send them to me. If not I'm sure I can get them the next time I'm down there. Whew.. good to know that my car is "average".

If so, you have less than 10% loss through the tranny?

The 189/149 figures were from a '06 stock 6MT. usurbrain, had posted his results back in this thread.. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31093
