I had the VentureShield Clear Bra and SolarGard tint installed on my TSX a few weeks back and I am very happy with the results.

The installer is David at Solar Control.

He uses the VentureShield brand of clear bra which is supposedly better than 3M.

He also did a custom cut for me where roughly 60% of my hood and fenders are covered by the film. In addition to this, he clear bra'd the space between my front windshield and moonroof.

In a normal install, the hood protection extends roughly 12 inches and there is no protection between the windshield and moonroof.

The total price for SolarGard Charcoal 35% tint and a custom cut VentureShield Clear bra was $840 w/tax done in 6 hours in Herndon, VA.

I don't have pics yet because my car is dirty as hell.

I recently noticed one fender was collecting grime under the film near the edge of the film where it ends. I called David and he is going to take care of it whenever I can bring it down. He's a real nice guy, let him know Aamir sent you.

sounds good, how much was the tint itself, and did they install mole skin?

Tint itself was $200. I asked about moleskin, he said he did not use it. He said he has done many TSX's and no one has had any issues. I put my windows down all the time for tolls right after the install and I have no scratches or problems.
