Lots of Dust w/ EBC

I recently changed my pads all around to ebc green stuff and I have more brake dust on my wheels than I did with oem. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, EBC pads (green and red) are like that. They also eat your rotors up pretty quick. That's why I don't like EBC and would rather go for something like Endless SSS or Hawk HPS.

That's the reason I stay away from EBC. Hawk HPS will have less dust compare to EBC, the HP Plus will stop better than HPS but it has more noise tho.

Endless pads are also going to eat up your rotors. If you want less brake dust, get ceramic pads.

Endless SSS eats rotors less than EBC green. It is about the same as HP Plus. But, it does have good braking force, better than Hawk Ceramic.

Hawk Ceramic still dusts more than OEM pads.

Well, I'm not trying to argue with you. This is just my experience having Hawk Ceramic pads, Endless pads. I used Endless pads for about 3 months/2000 miles or less. My fairly new car got warped rotors right after 3 months of usage, not sure if I had defective rotors from the beginning, but that's what happened.

I have ceramic pads on my TSX. It doesn't dust more than OEMs. Off course it depends on your driving style. I don't drive the TSX hard at all. Hard driving style tends to generate more dust.

Which Endless pads were you using? You can't generalize them all as they have at least 15 different models in their range, from OEM-level to semi-metallic. Also, habits such as holding the brakes down firmly at the lights will cause warp because of the uneven heating.

Was just stating my observation. My driving style didn't change, just the pad type. Also, the OEM dust is black in colour while the Ceramic dust is brown. So it makes it more obvious.

I forgot the model, it's not the ceramic, it's compound type pad. I'll have to search for the model and tell you later.
Btw, that was my 1st time having warped rotors after owning/driving more than 10 cars.

Yes, I'm well aware of the dust. I have 19" wheels with brushed face and polished lip, so it is very easy to determine whether it generates more dust or not.

If it was a non-asbestos (and non-ceramic and non-metallic) pad model, then it's one of these:

Vita Nuova
VN9500
SSY
SSS
SSM
NA-M
NA-Y
NA-S
NA-D
NA-R
