lip spoilers (question)

Has anyone installed one of those fairly-inexpensive lip spoliers that are all over ebay?? I figure it would be a pretty good alternative than getting an actual dealer-installed spoiler?

curious to see if they stay on since you actually peel and stick it to your trunk. Also how does the color hold up through the sun and elements?

Thnx

Anthony

The ebay spoilers don't come painted so you'll have to get that done. I've had one on my car since last summer and I've had no issues at all.

Actually I got mine used so it was already painted, but you have to get it painted by an autobody shop to make sure it looks good.

I probably have a pic but it's going to take some searching...

There are a lot of members with them if you just do a search for "lip spoiler"

I used an outdoor double-sided 3M tape and there's no worries of it falling off. It's probably stronger than the adhesive they use on the rear badges.

Tons of people on the boards have them. I used 3m double sided adhesive tape, this stuff is strong as hell, still sticking hard as hell onto the car even through pouring rain storms, and snow storms.

Hey, worst comes to worse, you lose a 25 dollar spoiler.....but thats not likely.

I got mine painted at a local body shop for 45 dollars.
