I was watching the Best Motoring VTEC Club DVD last night and they were doing a comparison between the Accord Euro R, Civic Type R, and Integra(RSX) Type R. After the comparison they were interviewing some Honda engineer type guy and said that it was possible to swap the RSX Type R and tranny into the Accord(TSX) Euro R. If this is the case is it possible to swap and RSX Type S engine into a TSX(w/navi) and turbocharge? I noticed that the guages for the Accord Euro R are different than the guages for the TSX. Is this possible?

u lose some options if you do the swap: VSA, cruise control, HVAC

also the dc5 itr and the cl7 euro-r share almost exactly the same platform, so a swap between the two would be kinda pointless!

and yes you can swap the k20a engines into the Euro accord/TSX, but you loose all sorts of stuff because you would get rid of the DBW.

That's Mr. Kamakura. He's from the Spirits tuning shop. He's not from Honda. But yeah, you can swap any K series into the TSX, you need an aftermarket ECU, and a modification to your throttle linkage to accomodate the cable throttle. No DBW means you lose any features that rely on DBW. With particular ECUs like Motec, you should be able to keep your HVAC working though. Cheaper solutions that totally replace your stock ECU will render HVAC useless.
