Talking Just installed DC Sports Header

All I can say is #4 after intake reflash and rear sway(last 2 rated by rave reviews)...all the doubters of the DC should shell out the 300 (even though I got mine for ) for the header and 10 yo get it welded and listen to that puppy hiss...install took about 2.5 hours mostly removing the original header with the rusted bolts...10 to weld the header (my friend has just about every tool imaginable since he builds race cars) and about 30 to install the DC header...we decided to see what it would sound like since my friend builds race cars and his dont have any kind of exhaust just pipes out to the side...and all i can say is ...it sounded like an SRT-4 with aftermarket exhaust (the one that sounds like a hemi ram) which further encouraged me to go with straight pipes and dual mufflers taking out the cat and resonator replacing with 2.5" piping ...but once we got her down with the header and everything attacthed we ran it up and down the street a couple of times and the hiss is noticeable from inside and out...making it sound almost like a turbo...gains down low are negligible but up top it is definetly noticeable...my friend with his is300 could easily pull on me from a 40 roll up to 80 where he would put 2-3 cars now its cut down to about half a car at 80 and 2 at 90...the big difference is that I get out to a better jump because of the better power in second gear turning at about 4500 I can put 1/2 a car right at the jump and hold it then he starts to pull...all in all I'm very satisfied with the header in total...especially for the price and the boost in performance it gave for about 10 min of precautionary measures (more than even trade)...my verdict is a definite buy for anyone seeking true performance gains for a good price

no reflash...yet...but it will be coming by the end of next year...I'm taking a 2-3 mods a year pace and to keep on pace to finish this year up would be the custom exhaust and that would hold me off until next year
