jdm intake manifold

been lookin at some pix of the jdm accords intake minifold i know they use a different engine BUT will the intake manifold bolt up? it has ALOT shorter runners which is better for higher HP. well someone let me know cuz if so i might just go get me one =)

i don't know about the k20a but I know the a2 in the rsx-s uses a dual runner system which is the best of both worlds. Long runners for low range and short runners for top end. A tsx with a dual runner system could probably make another 10lbft down low and up top.

It's worth a look if someone at your friends shop has a rsx you could pull the IM off and compare. The hondata intake manifold gasket for the rsx won't fit the tsx so i'm figuring they are slightly different. Even if they did fit you couldn't get a dual runner setup going as that is controlled by the ecu so it would have to be locked in one position.

hmmm so the RSX one wont bolt up...and the dual runner system is controlled by the ECU so basically im screwed...i would like to get some shorter runners though...maybe a custom job is in order

It might bolt up with a custom gasket..I don't know.
