JDM Headlights Adjustment

So we know JDM headlight (for right-hand drive)
is the reverse pattern of USDM spec.

Is this the way to adjust it to US spec ?

I had installed on JDM headlight on my Tsx and never seen that adjust the headlight. I had no problem installed it and very easy. But you have to be careful removing the HID kit for low beam and other bulbs remove too.

just dont touch the bulb at all. if you get the oils from your hands on there bulb as soon as they get power they will fry. also I have never been flashed since getting my JDM headlights. maybe the people in my area are used to it now.

Take the projectors from the US spec housing and transfer them to the JDM housing. The beam pattern is within the projector.

No...

There is no real way to do it. Each of the lights has the pattern in it (high on the left low on the right for JDM). You can test what I'm saying out by covering up one light, you will still see the pattern. People always think that one light is just aimed higher then the other but its an actual metal bracket inside the light that makes the pattern. When you install the lights take a look inside and you will see it.

There was someone abroad, I will look for the PM and find out who. That disassembled the entire light, custom fabed brackets that went the other way, and put it all back together again, but I don't know why you would go through all that trouble, plus the risk of getting moisture in the headlight.

No one really notices. The rise is so minute that I doubt any one with the JDM lights has ever been flashed... I havent.

hehe I actually pulled out the projector from a spare headlight the other day

yeah I know what you talking about the metal shield in the projector.

one thing I will tell you:
Apparently the projector is specifically designed to be impossible to be taken out the back.
I played around for a couple of hours trying to get it out the gentle way,
in the end I had to give it hell and pull it out by force.

what you mean "dremeled" ? how ?

I pull it out the hard way yes, metal > plastc, so just a microscopic little piece of plastic chipped off the opening edge.

Anyone has a close-up pic of the projector from the rear side? I'm curious to see how the projector is attached to the housing.

Hmm... did those red fasteners break off from the housing? They look like drywall anchors. Are the screws permanently attached to those fasteners?

just pay no attention to them

I put them there to keep the screws from sliding out.

So the projector should come out of the housing after removing the screws? You mentioned that it was difficult to come out...

it should if the opening is just tiny bit bigger

Ah I see... so it's kind of like pressed in. I think if you used an heat gun on the outside, it might come apart easier.
