Installation Charges???
Hey Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and have a few quick questions regarding what I can expect to pay for installation charges on an OEM body kit. I realize that rates may vary around the US, but I was just curious what people who are not "Do It Yourselfers" paid to have thier kit installed? This will not include the rear wing, only the lower panels. I have a friend who is the parts mgr. at an Acura dealership out of state so I'm getting the kit for a great price, but I have to find someone to put it on for me here in Indiana. Should I use my dealership where I bought my TSX last week or check around with some local mod shops? I'm a little nervous about using anyone other than an Acura dealership for the OEM kit. I was told by my salesman that their labor rate is typically $80 per hour. Is this normal or do some shops have a flat rate on a kit like this? I just don't have time to do it myself as I travel all week long for my job and the weekends are filled up with my wife and 2 children. I appreciate any input you can offer. Thanks
