HyTech Intake Manifolds
HyTech Intake Manifolds

This is what John @ HyTech has to say about them:
The manifold has a bigger plenum and tapered runners and there is no part of the runner that hangs down into the plenum like the factory one's do. It also has no parrallel sides to reduce acoustic resonance problems. This is also a great manifold for turbo cars and NA motors that run up to 9,000. And we can run up to a 75mm throttle body on it.
Hopefully these will be made for TSX as well. The pictures are the IM for the RSX

I spoke to John a few weeks ago, told me that the finishing touches were being made for the street application and production of them would be starting soon. Thats fine my me, gives me more time to save up.

On that same topic, isn't there a smog place by HyTech that will pass the Hytech I/H/C/E?
I remember on the integra forum that there was a place by them that knew about Hytech headers or performance parts in general. As long as you passed the smog test, they wouldn't fail you in the visual.

Currently no CARB exemption, as he said its a long process, so that could change at a later time. He is fully aware of our wonderful CA laws concerning modified exhausts. It still utilizes the O2's and has a cat in place so shouldn't be any problems
HyTech recently launched another website checkout some of their other prodcuts. HyTech Products

The full benefit will not be seen unless you're running a race header, a modified 25-45 degree VTC, and of course, a K-pro.
resurecting an old thread here. Ground Zero here in town fabricates a intake manifold for the K20/K24 which is just bored out in essence over ours now and can run a larger throttle body or a stock throttle body. My question is, is it worth the 450.00 plus install, or will this simply not offer much of a performance gain if any over stock? I am currently running CT catback, RT cat, CT ice box. Yeah, I know I need headers but CT's rattles, DC is cheap, and Hytech is well EXPENSIVE lol. Thanks for the input
