Hondata reflash intake w/header
Guys I am trying to find out what difference a header will make on an already reflashed TSX with intake. I have been looking for dynos showing a reflash with intake, and with an intake and header.
I am just trying to find out how much of a difference a header will make after already adding an intake and reflash. I searched, but didn't find anything here or on the Hondata website. Any help would be appreciated.

I know there are probably dyno graphs in the dyno section showing the difference, but just a quick tip, opening up the normal cast exhaust manifold/header, with a smoother and better flowing header ie: comtech, dc, topspeed, etc...will net you better gains than a stock exhaust manifold. Normal gains are anywhere in the ballpark from 7-11whp if I recall correctly. Maybe someone else could chime in with exact numbers, but those sound pretty close. You will be able to tell the difference definitely through the midrange and higher end with the opened exhaust flow with a header, especially at the 5k mark when the vtec kicks in with the reflash. Good luck and hopefully that helps out a bit..typical gains with the reflash, header, and intake are 25-30whp..

Don't know what year or tranny on your TSX, but looking at the 04 MT as an example, you're looking at a peak gain of 5.5FT-LBS/5.1HP between a completely stock car and one with headers. You already have the intake. Argue that the headers do twice as much as the intake, and your talking about a gain of like 3.4HP for the header. Considering that this is not even a 2% gain, if someone swapped your headers without you knowing, I doubt you'd pull over and pop the hood.

Here are a couple of reviews from Jeff Palmer of TOV. Dyno plots are included.
DC Header
Comptech Header
Note that both headers were tested on a reflashed TSX with the AEM Short Ram System Intake.
