LOVE - new torque curve
higher rev limit (in ss mode)
smoother engagement of vtec (now at 5k rpms)
overall just a faster car (as if my displacement has been bumped to 2.5 or 2.6L)
HATE - well w/ gas prices soaring i had gotten in the habbit of keeping my tack below 3k rpms to save on fuel. NOT SO ANYMORE

I'm in the 2007 AT sinking ship but still had a question.
does a normal hondata flash [non k-pro] allow superchargers/turbos?
I thought that sort of jump in equipment needed a k-pro..
just asking because i saw some mention that in this thread...

see, i don't get that. they say on their website they won't comment on future projects exactly for that reason (ppl bombarding them with calls), yet they told you all that the 05 reflash is coming soon.
but they won't say if there is anything in the future for the 07/08's. is there a 'kick-in-the-balls' smilie i can add here?

I am sure it will be out soon. I mean people usually mod cars after they have been driven for some time, not brand new ones. Wait a bit and I guarantee u that at least the manual transmission models will receive the reflash.

custom tune is def the way to go. only issue is $, finding someone to do a proper tune, and figuring out what direction you wanna go in - n/a, s/c, turbo, or nitrous
i've always been a n/a type of guy but without any real top/bottom end work so the reflash is absolutely perfect for my needs. gimmy all the bolt ons i can get, flash the ecu, and drive off happy and with peace of mind

I think thats why I never went k pro. I have all the bolt ons with type r cams and type r intake manifold and with the reflash, I was pretty content with the power. I wouldnt mind going k pro since you can tune to your specific setup unlike the reflash which is just a universal tune. Its just dyno tuning is soooo expensive.

Yea.... K PRO has the PRO part in it for a reason. We, little poor slackers who couldnt afford NSX's, have no need for professional tuning which is by the way very expensive. So I think I will stick with the reflash
