depends on the mods you have or will have ......sometimes it's not worth it

Stock, then Flashpro isn't necessary, but a Reflash seems to yield some good results. |
Unless you are going the forced-induction route (which is very expensive), the reflash is the way to go.
I have had mine for ~6 years and ~72k. I can't imagine going back to stock, especially now that I'm taking it to the track. No issues that I can attribute to the reflash. It's a no-brainer. Do it (if you haven't already). |

I had both and here is my take.
I had the reflash for about 30k miles and loved every moment with it. My other mods were Injen CAI, UR pulleys, and CT Header. Top end just felt smoother and kept pulling till the 7600 rpm redline. Shifting into the next gear was also improved. The fun eventually wears out and that's when I went to the route of force induction. Of course now I had to get the FlashPro with this setup: CT Intake, CT Supercharger, CT Header, Fastline high flow cat and Fujitsubo catback. Vtec was even lower and with all this mods, it felt like a car with 6 cylinders. So really it depend on the mods you get. Reflash was great for a near stock car. Anything more, you are required a FlashPro. Both are reliable if tuned properly with the FlashPro. |

Definitely go for Reflash!

I am wondering also. Anyone here choose the reflash over kpro and vice versa? I suppose i'll get the "depends on mods" answer. From what I understand, reflash is a good bang for buck upgrade along with bolt ons. Kpro, on the other hand, is meant as a means to get the most out of your motor and will allow for more aggressive builds such as cams....someone correct me.
